Monday's class

I could confirm paraphrasing and accurate thesis statement in class. I think how to write accurate and persuasive thesis statement now. However, I will write my thesis statement based on class working.

Thanks to Ken, I could imagine organization of my essay but I do not have confident to write my essay (;_;).

Friday's class

My group member and I talked about new reading in Friday class. The content of it is similar to Gould’s one. However, it has different view from Gould to Shreeve even if they insist same issue of race. It is very interesting for me. Issue of race is very interesting topic but three authors may be same position of it. I want to read other type of books which author is in positive position.

I decide my essay topic, abortion because there are many issue of it. For example, conflict between pro-life and pro-choice. In addition, prenatal diagnosis is also controversial issue. I will focus on prenatal diagnosis in my essay. I did not organize my essay clearly.

Oct. 9 class

Friday’s class was very impressing for me because we used spring term reading “College Thinking” to answer (think) a question. I never thought the possibility of seeing previous term reading in this term. However, it was interesting because I could feel connection between spring term and fall term. Also, I could think question with other author’s opinion. It was the first experience for me. Although the discussion about questions were difficult for our group but I could think deeply with listening to other group member’s ideas and thoughts.

However, I really confuse because I cannot imagine the flow of my paper and my topic clearly. I have some ideas about my essay topic. I will try to organize my thoughts before class.

last week classes

were interesting!
These classes made me think race or distinction deeply.
I looked back my life, I noticed I distinct various things unconsciously.
For example, I am Japanese or you are American. These are kinds of the distinction.
There are many various kinds of distinctions around us but it is natural for us to distinguish one to another.
However, it is possible to make misunderstandings with other people if we do not think do so.
I realized distinction can be very dangerous in case.


I cannot decide my essay topic ;(
There are many topics I want to write…
For now, I will consider my topic looking for documents.
